Stairway to Heaven came to mind as we wound our way to the tip (1,600 foot elevation) of the trust lands at Honohina. The Aguiar family is using the 2,800-acre parcel, located on the Hamakua Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii, primarily for ranching and agriculture.
“The family has restored these lands for productive use after 150-years of use for growing sugarcane,” said Kehau Harrison, trust executive assistant.
"So peaceful and nurturing," said Ann-Marie Fernandez, trust executive assistant.
