Kawehi was born and raised in O’ahu, the oldest of six children – three girls and three boys. Today she lives in Kapolei with her two children and “other half.”
Growing up, she learned the Hawaiian culture and was speaking the Hawaiian language by the time she was four years old. She and her dad would do almost everything together. He taught her how to fish, how to cook some of his favorite foods, how to fight (for real), and so much more; as her best friend and role model, today he is dearly missed.
In her spare time, Kawehi likes to hike, go beach, go riding up Kahuku, shop, and hang out with family. She is currently continuing her education.
Kawehi loves working at the Trust and feels truly blessed for the opportunity.
