The Trust welcomed Kehau to its ‘ohana and its Kailua-Kona office in January 2014.
Born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi, Kehau is one of five children of Roy and Marcia Gomes, all of whom grew up on a small family ranch and farm in the town of Holualoa. Farm life included caring for pigs, chickens, horses, cows, rabbits and dogs. Kehau participated in local rodeos throughout high school and college, entering in events such as wahine calf mugging with her sister Nahua Guilloz.
Graduating from Konawaena High School, Kehau obtained her Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Hawaii at Hilo. She moved to Oʻahu and worked as a flight attendant with Aloha Airlines for ten years until they ceased operations in 2008. Prior to joining the Trust, Kehau worked for Aulii Construction Inc., Parents And Children Together (PACT), and Bank of Hawaii.
Kehau currently resides in Kailua-Kona with her daughters Keilah and Anuhea. She enjoys paddle boarding, quad riding, camping, horseback riding and spending time with her family.
