Lee Lehuanani Mahiʻai Poʻuha
Lehua was born in the town of Pauoa, on O’ahu. At the age of 8, her ‘ohana moved to Mākaha to assist Tūtū Wahine, Koa Garcia, with her floral business.
She graduated from Waiʻanae High School and continued her studies at the Brigham Young University-Hawaiʻi, earning a bachelor’s degree in Social Work. After marriage, she attended the University of Hawaiʻi, School of Social Work, where she acquired a master’s degree in Social Work. She is the mother of five children and Tūtū Wahine to three grandchildren. Besides having fun with her ‘ohana and pet dog named “Bella,” she enjoys Hawaiian quilting and genealogical research.
