A native to Kona, Lori is the seventh child of nine siblings. Her roots stretch from Nā‘ālehu, Kau to Hāwī, Kohala.
Married to her high school sweetheart, they have two children, and five mo‘opuna whom she considers her greatest treasures. Lori enjoys painting, fabric dying, reading, drawing, and volunteering. Her many life experiences as entrepreneur, state employee, Daughter of Hawai‘i member, community board member and volunteer, prior to working for the Queen, have honed her skills as an office supervisor. The love of her heritage and culture has guided her volunteerism efforts towards organizations of our Ali‘i and caring for their artifacts. Lori considers her work for the Queen, and continuing her mission of caring for Hawaiʻi’s children, a gift!
