Dawn Harflinger LT’s president and chief executive officer began her service to Queen Liliʻuokalani in 2005. Dawn has held various programmatic and endowment leadership roles including chief financial officer and chief investment officer. Dawn played an integral role in repositioning real estate and financial assets to reduce risks and capitalize on global opportunities. She also played a key role in visioning, designing, and developing a road map for, LT’s expanded programs in early childhood, youth development and opportunity youth. She pioneered LT’s early investments in the crypto space where LT was the first institutional capital in several crypto-native funds. Dawn’s passion for the mission is a result of her upbringing by two loving parents and a large family. She is the product of a Catholic school education, long days at the beach, and longer days on her family's ranch.She received her undergraduate education in business and literature, and later earned her CFA designation. Dawn's past and current affiliations include: BlackSand Capital, CFA Institute, CFA Society Hawaiʻi; Institutional Limited Partners Association, Standard Crypto, Urban Land Institute, Waikīkī Improvement Association, and Waikīkī Surf Club.
