Kauʻilani Kahoʻonei Arce
Kauʻi attributes her accomplishments to having a strong family foundation and faith in ke Akua.
She was literally born and raised on homestead land in Nanakuli, Oʻahu. She is proud to be a product of her community and continues to work, live, and play there.
As a special projects manager with the ʻāina team, Kauʻi enjoys bringing dreams to life through spatial planning and design. Her kuleana includes facilitating teams to reimagine youth-centered spaces for LT kamaliʻi. Before "falling into" the development world, Kauʻi served vulnerable Native Hawaiian children and their families as a social worker for a decade on the leeward coast of Oʻahu. She graduated from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa with a Master's degree in Social Work and B.A. in Communications.
In her spare time, you can find Kauʻi relaxing at the beach.
