LT ʻŌlino Arts 2019
The LT ʻŌlino Arts pathway provides an exciting and interactive summer enrichment experience! Participating kamaliʻi explore their artistic passions through performing arts and animation, in collaboration with the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts).

Animation Academy: July 1 – July 26, 2019 (Youth, ages 14-17)

This free 4-week program will offer students an opportunity to learn various animation techniques, all while remaining rooted in Hawaiian culture. All participating youth will have the opportunity to produce an individual animated short film, as well as participate in a collaborative group film.
Performing Arts Summer Intensive: July 8 – 27, 2019 (Youth, ages 11-13)
This free 3-week intensive will offer students an opportunity to learn a variety of art forms from renowned artists from both Hawaiʻi and across the nation.
Participating youth will explore the following disciplines:
- DANCE: Modern
- THEATRE: Dramatic Performance
- POETRY: Spoken Word
- HAWAIIAN: Hula, Oli, Language
- PERCUSSION: Afro-Brazilian Drumming
