Nā Makakū

Nā Makakū is brought to you through Liliʻuokalani Trust ʻŌlino Arts. It's a gathering place for young creatives to come together from across the State who share similar interests and want to connect and learn from each other.

The group will meet every week, starting October 21st, to talk about what you are interested in, what you are making, and possibly collaborate on a project. Every other week a professional creative will be invited to share their work and take questions from the group.

For your safety, Nā Makakū: Young Creatives Hui will be held online due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.

To participate, you will need a tablet, laptop, or smartphone with stable internet (ISO preferable). Students must be 14-18 years old at the time of application. Preference will be given to current LT kamaliʻi, orphan and other destitute children of Native Hawaiian ancestry in the Hawaiian Islands.  All are welcome to apply.

The program is open enrollment, so sign up at anytime. Enrollment must be complete to receive Zoom link and password.
