Nicole joined the Liliʻuokalani Trust ‘ohana at Kīpuka Kaua’i in October 2019.
She was born and raised in Wailua on Kaua’i and is a graduate of Kapa’a High School. Nicole received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Anthropology from University of Hawai’i at Hilo before moving to Portland, Oregon for eight years.
While in Portland, she provided mental health treatment services to children, teens, and families in both residential and community-based settings and became involved in community change initiatives while in graduate school.
Nicole earned a Master’s in Social Work from Portland State University before returning home to Hawai’i.
She is grateful to be back and working with Native Hawaiian children and families.
