Hawaiʻi Pacific Health Nurse Aide program To build pathways toward economic sustainability, LT will be collaborating with Hawaiʻi Pacific Health (HPH) to offer a Nurse Aide program for those interested in working in the healthcare field. This Nurse Aide program is for Native Hawaiian high school seniors and young adults up to 26 years old who live on Oʻahu. Once participants successfully complete the course, students will receive coaching support from HPH to gain employment at one of Hawaiʻi's acute care hospital settings. Nurse Aides play a key role in delivering the highest quality care to patients in their daily activities. This includes taking vital signs, helping patients ambulate, feeding and bathing patients, and helping patients understand their treatment plan.
