Workforce Co-op Alliance Fall Break Trades Camp

Workforce Co-op Alliance Fall Break Trades Camp

A partnership between Liliʻuokalani Trust and the Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement – Trades Academy to facilitate and deliver curriculum to innovate approaches to access quality jobs in Hawaiʻi. This Camp will promote healing and well-being with an approach that is grounded in the cultural strengths and the resilience of our collective moʻokūʻauhau.

A five (5) day, overnight camp in Keahuolū, Kona, will serve as a platform to provide kamaliʻi (20 maximum) with an introduction to trade industry experiences, mentorships, and guidance. The project will focus on growing our perspective of a “tradesperson” and portrays a skilled worker that specializes in a particular trade. The project will also provide an overview of high-demand trades in Hawaiʻi.

WHEN: October 7 - 11, 2024
