Melinda Lloyd Raised in East O‘ahu, Melinda is a bookworm, and so she says a "quintessential nerd." A graduate of Sacred Hearts Academy, Melinda's first avocation was to become a nun because she wanted to be of service to others, which she is able to accomplish as a social worker. Melinda was a single parent who raised her three children (Lyndsay, Ali, and Kamuela) to be happy, healthy, productive citizens – doing nothing illegal or immoral. This, by the way, is also the outcome she envisions for the Queen’s beneficiaries!
