
Virtual Counseling
Virtual Counseling is an interim service that provides brief mental health counseling to young people dealing with common issues and behaviors. It supports youth in strengthening their coping strategies that enhance self-awareness and self-regulation, promoting safety and emotional well-being.

- Counseling by an LT counselor
- A maximum of 8 sessions
- Assessments
- Virtual services
Eligibility:
- 13-18 years old (if still attending high school)
- Native Hawaiian ancestry
- Currently lives in Hawaiʻi
- Actively securing longer-term mental health services (e.g., already waitlisted)
- Consent from legal parent/guardian
We accept referrals from:
- Legal parents/guardians
- Case Managers/Social Workers
- Health professionals
- School personnel
- Other helping professionals
