Nicolette "Roimata" Mozo Roimata was raised in Aotearoa and came to Hawaiʻi at 18 years old on a sponsorship from the Polynesian Cultural Center. She danced her way through her BSW from Brigham Young University Hawaiʻi and later went on to earn an MSW from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Roimata’s career at the Trust began as a practicum student where she grew to love the Queen, as well as her people, and is so grateful to now be one of them. Roimata lives in the ahupuaʻa of Kapaka in Hauʻula. She likes to spend her free time with her son and three daughters, especially at the beach!
