Deilan Kahauolopua Deilan Kahauolopua was born and raised in the beautiful town of Hilo, Hawaiʻi. He recently graduated from Waiākea High School and is now pursuing a major in Construction Management at BYU–Hawaiʻi in Lā’ie, Oʻahu.In his free time, Deilan enjoys paddling, playing music, and spending quality time with ʻohana and friends. He currently plays the bass and has also learned to play the cello through the LT programs, which have greatly influenced his musical journey. As a member of Nā Leo, Deilan's goal is to create and support programs that help kamaliʻi grow and develop, just as he did. He aspires to make a meaningful impact on the youth in his community, much like his mentors did for him and his peers. Through these efforts, Deilan hopes to return and become a full-time member of the LT Team, working alongside his mentors to help nurture the next generation of community leaders.
