Kinohi Malani

Kinohi Malani is from Hilo, Hawaiʻi, and recently graduated from the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo with a bachelor's degree in psychology. He is currently working in the food service industry while serving as a member of the Nā Leo o Kamakaʻeha Advisory Committee as part of Cohort 3.

His professional and personal interests include cooking, weightlifting, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle through nutrition and physical activity. 

Kinohi is deeply passionate about helping others and being connected to the ʻāina. He actively gives back to his community by volunteering with programs organized by Liliʻuokalani Trust. His current focus is on discovering his long-term career path, which he envisions will involve supporting and providing for his community. 

His decision to join Nā Leo was motivated by a desire to acquire new skills and develop meaningful connections. Kinohi is committed to growing through his experiences with Nā Leo and aspires to create programs that will assist future generations of kamaliʻi in transitioning from home to real-world scenarios, ultimately helping the people of Hawaiʻi to flourish.
