Costume Design - Fall

Liliʻuokalani Center

This fall, Kamalei steps into costume design and turns imagination into something you can see, touch, and wear. Sketches become mood boards. Mood boards become renderings. Renderings become fully realized costume pieces in a safe and supportive space guided by caring adults.

Kamalei learns the full design process from concept to construction while building creative confidence in a consistent environment with trusted mentors. This is hands-on, detailed work made for youth who love design, theatre, and making ideas real.

You will design for Kamalei, work toward a real production, meet other creatives, and shape the next major theatrical performance at the Liliʻuokalani Center with your own original work.

A huakaʻi to a local theatre includes watching a live show and sitting down with the costume designer for behind-the-scenes insight into professional artistry and process. This is where skills grow and belonging takes root.
