Food becomes the doorway to culture, wellness, and connection to ʻāina.Kamalei build real kitchen skills while exploring local ingredients, ʻike kūpuna, and Hawaiʻi’s food system through cooking, storytelling, games, tastings, discussion, reflection, and applied learning. This is a consistent environment guided by caring adults and trusted mentors who value teamwork and curiosity.You will cook healthy, culturally relevant snacks and meals, work as a team, and practice responsibility and communication while meeting new people.
