Waiʻanae - Oiwi Connections - Fall

Kīpuka Waiʻanae

This is a safe, welcoming afterschool space where Kamalei from West Oʻahu can relax, learn, and connect in a consistent environment rooted in Hawaiian culture and care.

For ages 6–12, Kamalei have the freedom to explore and play. Read a book, choose indoor or outdoor activities, create art, move your body, or just hang out with friends. Monthly enrichment like cooking, arts and crafts, and movement is shaped by Kamalei interests, with food, rest, and hospitality always part of the space.

For teens ages 13–17, this is a flexible drop-in space to unwind and connect with peers and caring adults. Kamalei can access food, hygiene supplies, laundry, showers, and informal academic or emotional support in a supportive environment without pressure or rigid schedules.

You are invited to come as you are. Meet new people, recharge, and find your place in a space built on trust, relationships, and belonging.
