Designed for Kauaʻi youth, this program bridges gaps in academic support and cultural enrichment while building confidence and leadership.You’ll dive into cultural activities like Queen’s Learning, ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi (Hawaiian language) basics, lei-making, lāʻau lapaʻau (traditional Hawaiian medicine), and moʻolelo of Kauaʻi (stories of Kauaʻi). Academic support is available for homework and study skills, so you stay on track in school.Leadership development is a big part of ASH—you’ll practice public speaking, teamwork, and even lead service projects that make a difference in your community.Want to explore new skills? You’ll have opportunities to create projects using tools like Cricut or GlowForge, experiment with painting and sculpting, and learn about ʻāina and food sourcing.ASH is more than an after-school program—it’s a place to build pilina, discover your strengths, and grow in a safe, supportive environment.
