Daily on-site activities and weekly huakaʻi give kamalei a full and engaging summer through Hui Kauwela, the Summer Day Program.

In a safe and consistent environment guided by caring adults, kamalei take part in hands-on learning, physical activity, creative projects, and community-based experiences. The program creates a supportive space where kamalei can build relationships, explore new interests, and stay active while enjoying a balanced summer routine.

You will try new activities, meet new people, spend time together on huakaʻi, and take part in fun group experiences throughout the day.

Kamalei builds confidence, strengthens social connections, and enjoys meaningful summer days in a structured and welcoming space that supports growth and belonging.

*All are welcome to apply with preference given to Native Hawaiian kamalei.
