Your voice matters and this is your space to use it. Kūkū Puʻuwai is a podcast program for youth and young adults ages 16–26. You’ll learn how to tell powerful stories through audio, gaining hands-on experience in interviewing, production, and cultural protocol.

Through workshops, recording sessions, and mentorship with cultural practitioners and media pros, you’ll share moʻolelo (stories), genealogies, and lived experiences that reflect your truth and uplift your community. You’ll build confidence, communication skills, and a deeper connection to your identity.

This program is rooted in healing and advocacy. You’ll explore issues that impact your life and the lāhui, using your voice to bridge generations and spark change. Along the way, you’ll grow as a leader, strengthen your resilience, and expand your civic engagement.

You don’t need a background in media, just a willingness to learn and a story to share. Whether you’re passionate about podcasting or simply curious, you’ll be supported every step of the way.
