Puʻu Lei o Liliʻu - Wai Kahana - Summer

Kīpuka Leihano

Looking to grow your skills and connect to your roots? Puʻu Lei o Liliʻu's Summer Program 2026, as part of Wai Kahana, is your chance to explore career paths while grounding yourself in healing, culture, and ʻike kūpuna (ancestral wisdom).

Over four weeks, you’ll dive into hands-on learning that blends work readiness with cultural values. The first two weeks focus on resume building, mock interviews, professional attire, and service projects with community partners. You’ll also take part in cultural learning that honors your identity and strengthens your connection to ʻāina (land) and ʻohana (family).

In the final two weeks, you’ll be placed with local sites to shadow mentors and gain real-world experience. Whether you’re exploring future careers or discovering new talents, you’ll be supported every step of the way.

This program is all about helping you grow personally, professionally, and culturally. You’ll build confidence, strengthen your leadership, and learn how to carry your self with pride.

No experience needed. Just come ready to learn, connect, and lead with aloha.

*All are welcome to apply with preference given to Native Hawaiian kamaliʻi.
