Wai Makaweli - Stakeholders - Year-Round

Oʻahu

Your voice matters and this is your space to use it. In this quarterly gathering, you’ll help lead conversations between youth, parents, system organizations, and community partners. Together, you’ll build trust, share expectations, and create real change.

You’ll work with other kamaliʻi (beneficiaries) to shape the topics ahead of time, then take part in breakout groups that mix youth and adults. Everyone gets a seat at the table, and you help guide the way. Each gathering includes short presentations from organizations, followed by deeper discussions where your ideas help shape future plans.

You’ll also gain skills in leadership, communication, and teamwork. From setting operational hours to coordinating logistics, you’ll take on real responsibilities that prepare you for future opportunities, including summer work and career development.

Held quarterly at locations like the Blaisdell or Nānākuli KSBE, this program is supported by a strong network of partners and a core team of service providers. It’s a space built for you, with you.
