I'm interested Kīpuka Waiʻanae Wahipana o Waiʻanae invites kamalei ages 6–11 on a journey to discover who you are and where you come from. This cultural-based program uses place-based, hands-on learning to help you connect deeply to the moku of Waiʻanae and the places you call home.You’ll explore the history, moʻolelo, and ʻike of Waiʻanae while learning oli, mele, and the traditional names of wahi pana, winds, rains, mauna, and important places across the region. Through guided activities and storytelling, you’ll come to understand how land, culture, and identity are connected.Learning happens through doing. This experiential approach helps you build social and emotional skills, confidence, and respect for yourself and others. As you explore ʻāina and culture together, you’ll also practice life and soft skills like listening, responsibility, teamwork, and self-expression.Wahipana o Waiʻanae is designed to support positive growth during an important stage of development.
