I'm interested Kīpuka Waiʻanae Ulupono is a culturally grounded program for kamalei ages 6–11 that supports emotional growth through Hawaiian values and practices. This program blends social-emotional learning with culture to help you build balance, resilience, and confidence.In a safe and nurturing space, you’ll learn how to recognize and name your feelings, understand how emotions show up in your body, and practice healthy ways to express yourself. Through stories, activities, and guided reflection, you’ll build positive social skills like empathy, listening, and cooperation.Hawaiian values are woven throughout each session, helping you strengthen your sense of identity while learning how to care for yourself and others. By grounding social-emotional learning in culture, Ulupono helps you feel rooted, supported, and understood.This program is designed to support everyday well-being. You’ll gain lifelong tools to navigate emotions, build strong relationships, and face challenges with confidence and kindness.*All are welcome to apply with preference given to Native Hawaiian kamalei.You don’t need to have the words or answers yet.
