John Hirokawa John Kiyoshi Hirokawa, a Systems Administrator, strengthens the dynamic IT Team, with his innovative skills and talents.Before joining the Trust, he devoted five years to IT at Blue Origin, the Seattle-based aerospace firm founded by Amazon’s Jeff Bezos.John designed a walk-up ticketing application for Blue Origin, allowing users to approach the help desk, and badge in to create support tickets. Additionally, he assisted the firm’s IT Infrastructure, Cyber Security, and Data Analytics Teams, by contributing to various projects and initiatives.While launching rockets was exciting, John is enthusiastic about leveraging his IT skills to support kamaliʻi at the Trust.In his leisure hours, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and daughter and can be found in the ocean, body surfing, and fishing.Another interesting fact about John: He grew up in Kāneʻohe, the youngest in a large family of seven siblings.
