Menrit Francis

Menrit is the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Lili’uokalani Trust. She is responsible for overseeing all the functions of the finance department. She has over 20 years of experience in non-profit and governmental financial management. She holds a Master of Science degree in Professional Accountancy from Central Washington University and is a Certified Public Accountant. She has a passion for helping non-profits achieve the financial goals needed to grow their services and outreach. She finds it very rewarding and fulfilling to be a part of an organization with a mission of benefiting humankind and bettering the lives of children who are in need.  

Prior to joining LT, Menrit has held various accounting and finance leadership positions with medium to large non-profits and academic entities. Most recently, she was the CFO at The Salvation Army, Hawaiian and Pacific Islands Division since 2017. She also led finance departments at Easter Seals Hawaiʻi, Children’s Home Society of Washington, and the University of Washington. Her experience is in non-profit financial management, budgeting and forecasting, staff development and training, finance and compliance audits, financial systems implementation, federal grant management, and AR/AP process improvements.
