Nalani Kaai

Nalani Kaai was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, but now resides in Kāneʻohe alongside the beautiful Ko’olau mountain range.

She earned her B.S. in Sociology with a minor in Social Work at Pepperdine University in 2021, and now is working on her MSW at the University of Hawai’i, Myron B. Thompson School of Social Work.

She hopes to pursue a career in social work that helps children and families gain access to a quality, culturally-grounded education. She envisions that this work will not only encourage the Queen’s vision of uplifting our kamali’i, but will also empower the new generations to be positive change makers.
