An Invitation to Participate in the 2025 ʻImi Pono Hawaiʻi Wellbeing Survey 2025-02-13 An Invitation to Participate in the 2025 ʻImi Pono Hawaiʻi Wellbeing SurveyWhen making a difficult decision or taking on a challenging task, how often do you draw upon your cultural heritage?Could you cover an emergency expense of $500 with your current finances?These are some of the questions that one can expect to answer (anonymously) in the 2025 ʻImi Pono Hawaiiʻi Wellbeing Survey, focusing on relationships, cultural identity, education, health, and community life.Hawaiʻi residents ages 18 and older are invited to take the ʻImi Pono Hawaiiʻi Survey.Here is the survey linkResults from the survey will allow LT researchers to better understand the state of wellbeing in Hawaiʻi — from a holistic, strengths-based, Indigenous perspective. This is significant, as Indigenous communities often view wellbeing from physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual perspectives.Findings from the 2025 study will be released throughout the year. Additionally, the results will be used to improve community services and planning for groups serving Native Hawaiians. The ʻImi Pono Survey, now in its fifth year, is a partnership with Kamehameha Schools, Liliʻuokalani Trust, Papa Ola Lōkahi, The Office of Hawaiian Affairs, and The Queen’s Health System.To view past results from the ʻImi Pono Survey, please visit www.ksbe.edu/imiponosurvey.____________________________________________________________________________________** The survey takes approximately 20 minutes and is open to all Hawaiʻi residents ages 18 and older.
