Andy," born and raised in Kahaluʻu, Oʻahu, now resides in Hakalau Nui, Hilo Pali Kū, Hilo. Often referred to as "Hāmākua," Hakalau Nui is a part of 1 of 3 Hilo regions - Hilo Pali Kū defined by its tall cliff structures that begin at the Wailuku River and end at its northern boundary at Hāmākua in the Kaʻawaliʻi Ahupuaʻa.

Moving to Liliʻuokalani Trust from the Hawaiʻi D.O.E. in 2018, Andy is passionate about the teaching-learning cycles and helping people achieve their dreams. Serving his community through the ʻike of Queen Liliʻuokalani is a dream that has become reality for Andy.

While not in the office or on the road between Kīpuka, you can find him at ballet, tap, gymnastics, paddling, baseball, and rodeo-ing with his wife, Chanel, daughter Mila, and son Niko.
