Paka Davis

Kevin Pakamiaiaea “Paka” Davis is a product of Hawaiʻi Island, having split his childhood years between the Kona and Hilo sides of the island. Some of Paka’s favorite childhood memories include years of camping at Keahuolū with his family.

Paka graduated from Kamehameha Schools Hawaiʻi before earning a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Environmental Science from Texas Christian University and a master’s degree in Sustainability and Development from Southern Methodist University. Paka was a member of both college football teams and earned university and conference honors.

Paka joined the Liliʻuokalani Trust in 2023. As the overseer of Liliʻuokalani Trust's unencumbered lands on Hawaiʻi Island, Paka is tasked with the ongoing conservation and preservation of natural and cultural resources. Leading the Kona ʻĀina team, he fosters community relationships and ensures the responsible stewardship of the ʻāina. Additionally, Paka serves on the board of the Kailua Village Business Improvement District, furthering his commitment to enhancing the Kailua-Kona community.

Paka is humbled by the opportunity to learn from and serve Hawaiʻi’s people and places. He is blown away that he gets to mālama Keahuolū, the same ʻāina that he was privileged to enjoy as a child.

In his free time, Paka loves spending time with his wonderful family and friends. Some of Paka’s favorite activities involve nature, fitness and music.
