This is a diversionary program which utilizes cultural concepts and components that will help guide 'ōpio through: externalizing and internalizing behaviors, developing skills for emotional comprehension, developing skills to help with resolving authoritative conflict, navigating physical changes, and guidance towards developing long-term goals.

Ho'ohiki face-to-face is a program for ōpio aged 13-17 years old. This program is trauma-informed and uses a strength-based approach. The activities involved aim to strengthen a sense of self, self-esteem, self-awareness, and self-regulation
