Hoʻohiki Kona Registration If interested, please complete this form. Register now About The Hoʻohiki program takes our kamaliʻi ages 13-17 on a journey of their ancestral past to the last reigning monarch, Queen Liliʻuokalani. Hoʻohiki encourages our kamaliʻi to connect to her story in their present lives to build a stronger, resilient, cultural identity. We give them space to be vulnerable, to be accountable, and to learn tools to restore relationships that might be broken from past actions. The Hoʻohiki program seeks to address the unique needs of Native Hawaiian youth aged 13-17 who are involved in or at risk for juvenile justice system involvement across the pae ʻāina. Grounded in Hawaiian culture, our program aims to provide a culturally responsive and trauma-informed approach to social emotional learning. By creating a safe and supportive space, we enable youth to develop essential skills in emotional comprehension, goal setting, conflict resolution, and navigating physical changes. Hoʻohiki aims to empower participants to thrive and succeed.WHEN: Monday - FridayTIME: 10 am - 2 pmDATES: 10/06/25 - 10/10/25WHO: Open to kamaliʻi ages 13-17To register, please fill out this form.Kīpuka Kona74-5490 Makala Blvd. Kailua-Kona, Hawaiʻi 96740
