Ka ʻUpena ʻŌpio

Ka ʻUpena ʻŌpio

The Ka ʻUpena ʻŌpio program is a culturally grounded program for Native Hawaiian youth in grades 6–12, designed to strengthen identity, connection, and peer relationships. Through storytelling, oli, team-building activities, and reflections on moʻolelo, participants deepen their sense of place and kuleana.

The program encourages confidence, collaboration, and cultural pride while building skills for leadership and community engagement. By the end, kamaliʻi leave with a greater sense of belonging and readiness to lead with aloha.
