Explore the roots of Hawai‘i’s food traditions in this Culinary pathway for youth ages 14–17. Learn about Kūpuna Crops—plants cherished for their cultural and nutritional value—and cook with local ingredients using both traditional and modern techniques. Connect with the flavors, stories, and wisdom of Hawai‘i’s ancestors in this hands-on experience.

At Liliʻuokalani Center, Fall Break programs are designed to spark curiosity, build skills, and celebrate culture. Whether you're stepping onto the stage, designing your own fashion brand, cooking with ancestral ingredients, or exploring conservation through technology, each pathway offers hands-on experiences that empower you to learn, lead, and express yourselves. With small group sizes and supportive mentors, you'll dive deep into your passions and walk away with new knowledge, friendships, and a sense of pride in your growth.
