Molokai - Haʻehaʻeku - Year-round

Kīpuka Molokai

Haʻehaʻekū is your space to grow as a leader, now and for the future. This program is designed for Molokai high school students and offers two pathways based on grade level.

If you’re a freshman or sophomore, you’ll focus on foundational leadership skills like decision-making, teamwork, confidence-building, and reflective practices, all grounded in Hawaiian values.

If you’re a junior or senior, you’ll prepare for workforce readiness by learning practical skills such as resume writing, interviewing, and professional communication, while connecting these skills to cultural values and kuleana (responsibility).

Both cohorts come together monthly for a shared mālama ʻāina (caring for the land) day, working in the loʻi (taro patch) or fishpond, to strengthen teamwork, cultural connection, and collective responsibility.

Haʻehaʻekū is more than a leadership program, it’s a journey toward confidence, kuleana (responsibility), and community. Come ready to learn, lead, and make an impact.
